Weekend Wear: Hippie floral and black leggings

9 Feb

Since we are die-hard Colts fans, B and I didn’t dress in certain colors or jerseys this year so this was my Superbowl outfit. We got to see a lot of our college friends and their new babies. 🙂 It was a fun time of amazing pigs in a blanket and pretzel dogs, cheering for teams we really didn’t care about and admiring the snow-flurries from the large back windows. Basically if a holiday involves, friends, food and sports, I’m there.

Ever since I’ve gotten these boots, I’ve loved pairing them with leggings and a tunic top. I haven’t broken this top out in a while but it works quite well with the other elements here. The red from the necklace ties in to the red in the shirt and adds some interest.

Hi there! Loving your blog, my name is Katie Elliott I am the creator of Tag a Trend.co.uk (www.tagatrend.co.uk)
The website works like this: each week I announce a new fashion trend, and people send in pictures of themselves wearing that trend to kte20@hotmail.com along with their name, age, town and a link to their blog.
These pictures then appear on our Facebook wall at http://www.facebook.com/TagATrend and on the Tag a Trend site.
Next week’s trend is ‘Leggings’ and as I can see you are loving the trend, I thought you might be interested in getting involved and sending in a pic of yourself in some leggings!
Your picture will be featured with a direct link back to your blog so is great for spreading the word about your site!
Look forward to hearing from you!
    Katie
